How can I get to drive too?
Not this thursday but next thursday my mom, my brother and I are leaving for california for a week. We are driving there. I am only excited about driving and not flying because we are going through Las Vegas!!!! I have been dying to see it since I saw The Hangover.
Last road trip we took was much longer and nearly a year ago.
It was such a battle to get my mom to let me drive. It was a constant fight. She only let me drive a little bit and even then was passenger seat driving like you would never believe. I wanted to beat myself to death with the steering wheel.
I am nearly 20 years old, Aug 25th!
Ive been driving since I was 16. I have day/night driving experience and experience driving alone.
I don’t want this to be an issue. I just want to be treated like another driver in the car.
I feel like she is making such a big deal out of it. Putting so much emphasis on me driving and it being "risky". I am mentally and skillfully ready to stop being looked at like that and just thought of as another driver.
It makes me feel like a kid and I highly don’t appreciate it.
Any advice would be helpful on this.
And we would get there so much faster because I sleep during the day and I am up all night. I am wide awake and hyper around 12am-2am those are my peak hours. And she sleeps at night and is awake during the day. We wouldnt have to stop at a hotel at all if she took one shift and I took the other. It would save money too..which is tight right now.
I am not a boy.
My avatar is of an actor…
And maybe hyper wasn’t the best word. I am just more alert during the night hours than most. My circardian rhythm is different due to age.
Sadly, I don’t have my own car.
Saving up for one though!
